Cut Slot Screens represent a more economical solution and are suitable for shallow and medium depth applications. The slots in these screens are obtained by cutting with a saw directly the pipe wall. 

Compared to PVC filters, they have a much lower wall thickness and therefore less clogging problems.

The number and dimensions of the slots can vary with pipe diameter and clients' needs. The slot size can vary between 1 mm and 3.5 mm. In any case they assure at least a minimum open area of 10%. 

As for the casings, these screens are custom made to give the desired Collapse Resistance.
