Sarplast has been awarded by ENEL S.p.A. an order for the supply of the penstock line DN1800 PN8 for the hydropower plant in Ancipa (Sicily, Italy). The penstock line has a total length of approximately 7 Km and will be installed inside a concrete pipe DN2300. Considering the total quantity of pipes and technical characteristics, this could be considered the biggest rehabilitation work in GRP ever done in Europe for hydropower plants.
